SAIS Lunch and Learn Video: First Thoughts From My EdJourney

For all who have so generously given of their time to read my blog so far on this journey, a huge thanks!  Knowing that the miles and nights in strange hotels are helping to connect educators and encourage innovative thinking makes it all worthwhile.  I am on a week break back home in San Diego to share Thanksgiving with family and friends, so will take a few days off of blogging until I head back to Memphis next weekend.  I have two weeks left on the trip: a week in Memphis and a week in Texas.

If you are not a member of SAIS or could not log on to the videocast we did in Atlanta, here it is.  There were great questions from both the physical audience and remote attendees that are not captured here, but thanks so much to the great staff at SAIS for inviting me to speak, and sharing this with all educators.

A very happy Thanksgiving to all of our American colleagues, hoping you are with family and loved ones, and thinking of our men and women serving away from home in this season. Looking forward to continuing the journey and conversation in a week!
