It Really Comes Down to Two Things

I have been working on presentations for the fall, and these two slides encapsulate so much of what K-12 needs to be worrying about; I wanted to share them.  Programmatically we have to re-imagine what learning means; this will an ongoing, never-ending process that has to take place much more rapidly than it does now.  That is just the way the world is.

Strategically, we have to shift from long-period, internally-contemplative planning to dynamic, integrated, externally-focused value creation and enhancement.

If your school is deeply and intentionally engaged in these two discussions, bravo.  If not, there is a lot of money, brainpower, inventive creativity, and momentum being bet against you.
